Good Camping/ travelling backpack?
I am going travelling in june and need to find a good travel backpack (berghaus/ north face etc style).
Around 65 + 10L and preferably with a full opening design rather than just top so i don’t have to dig to the bottom.
Thanks
I would look into Osprey packs [http://www.ospreypacks.com/].
They have an amazing travel series and all of thier packs are well constructed. Any of thier “backpacking” packs are awesome all around [Atmos, Aether, Crescent, etc...]
I use a Switch 55 [I think]…. It’s a “snow” pack with a detachable daypack… It’s really nice to have the little daypack so you can leave your big pack at camp or the hotel and have little adventures. One other really nice thing about that pack is it fits the requirments for take-on luggage [With the day pack removed] so you can take all your gear with you on the plane [If you're a light packer like me].
Osprey also makes an “Airporter” bag that your pack can fit inside if you want to check it. It protects the buckles and all that good stuff and has a strap so you can wear the daypack and carry the main pack.
And the switch is a top open design…. which is nice when you’re in a hurry and just shove everything into it.
