What be an average cost for a college student to spend a month of summer in Europe backpacking?
I’m trying to start a savings plan for a vacation to Europe in the summer. I just want a ballpark number of how much i would need to save up. I’m fine with staying in hostels and eating conservatively.
Search websites like Skyscanner.com for your flight, but on average, reserve $US 1000, that will be enough from many cities.
In Europe, $US 100 per day is enough to get by, nothing luxurious.
Some people do travel for less, but that will be hard work and no fun.
It is very easy to spend more, up to $150 per day is not unreasonable.
