Ideas for school lunches for a picky kindergartner?
If she doesn’t like her lunch, she literally won’t eat – I’ll find an untouched lunch in her backpack at the end of the day. I’m stuck in a serious turkey sandwich rut at this point. Oh, and I have a toddler and a job, so anything that takes more than ten minutes to prepare probably isn’t going to happen … any suggestions would be much appreciated!
I have a child who is also picky when it comes to school lunches. What I decided to do was sit down with her and together, we wrote a list of every single food item that she eats. Then, we came up with 4 days worth of meals (she buys pizza on Fridays) that I could pack for her. It has worked wonderfully! She feels like she has some control over what she is getting for lunch, and she no longer comes home with food still in her lunch box!
