Can I wash my Jansport backpack?
My Jansport backpack is getting really dirty and I want to know if I can wash it in the washing machine, and if so what setting?
oh and there is no leather on my backpack
Yes you can wash a backpack.
- Remove the back/stays first
- If it’s a big on 60+ liters, you’re better off washing it in a tumble washers
- Throwing in a cup of Fast Orange, hand-cleaner will help to remove grease, oil, dirt, sticky stuff better
- tumble dry on low heat. The heat will remove the citrus smell.
- If you use the backpack for hunting, there a number of UV killers that you can wash/spray onto your gear to remove the reflectiveness that animals can see
